My journey to becoming a body piercer began in my teens by teaching myself, practicing on friends and family. At the time, it was a hobby, as I was not aware I could make a full-time career out of it.   

Around 2015, I secured a formal apprenticeship at a local shop and started my career as a professional piercer and shop manager.

I learned new techniques, cleaning and sterilization procedures, and client safety through my fellow piercers in the shop. 

As I continued to learn more through experience and as the industry evolved, I started to understand the importance of high-quality jewelry. 

When my concerns and suggestions regarding upgrading jewelry and practices went unheard, I began preparing to branch off. 

In 2022, I decided to leave and start my own business: Precious Metals Body Piercing.  

I’m committed to being the best support for my clients, and to only using the highest quality jewelry available from APP-compliant brands. 

Since branching off on my own, I’ve been a guest piercer at several shops in many different states. I’ve also had the opportunity to work alongside many talented peers in the industry and meet some incredible clients!
